In 1999, the operations manager, from Hayes, Middlesex, experienced an ectopic pregnancy, which resulted in her right fallopian tube being removed, and she was left with scar tissue on the other. Doctors explained she would most likely need to undergo IVF to conceive. "The prospect of never carrying a child was devastating," remembers Nina.
